It's... Another Blog-Type Thing

Over the past few years I've wandered to various spots across the planet, and I've done a semi-competent job of writing all the important bits down on the Internet. This year I've ended up in a slightly less exciting location, which I've therefore decided to write about in a slightly less extravagant blog. More of a blog-type thing. A blog wannabe. In short, expect fewer post about foreign languages and cheeses, and more random discussions about whatever happens to wander through my head when I sit down to write. I'm embracing the tradition of all writers living in tiny apartments in New York City, and writing abstract things about things. You've been warned.
I've ended up in NYC through a crazy succession of happenstances that ended up with me almost but not quite working at the Daily Bugle, if the Daily Bugle were a real thing and if I were actually doing journalism. I'm actually interning for a publishing company, which means I get to spend all day smashing the dreams of my fellow writers, and then if I have some time afterward, I wander. New York City isn't the easiest place to wander, but I try. Sometimes. I hope to do more wandering during the next month-or-so that I'm here, so that I can have as much of an experience here as I can, hopefully without getting mugged or run over. I may even take pictures.
As I said, you've been warned.
